Z1 | Z2 | Z3 Carbon

Designed as no-compromise racing and training bikes, Parlee carbon defines the ride and build quality of a first-class bicycle. The combination of light weight, superb handling, torsional stiffness, and road-buzz-absorbing qualities are legendary – this truly is an exceptional ride.

The Z1 Carbon is our top-of-the-line carbon road frame and is based on the Parlee Z1x. We also offer the Z2 frame with level top tube, as well as the sloping Z3 version. These are available using either Parlee’s own stock size chart or as custom frames designed here at HampCo. Multiple tubing weights and wrap configurations are available to further fine-tune the ride of each frame.

The primary difference between the Z1 and the Z2/Z3 is in the use of the Parlee-designed and Reynolds-built wishbone seatstay on the Z2/Z3c frames. The classic twin stay with hand-made brake bridge found on the Z1 is more labor to produce but provides a slightly plusher ride than the Z2/Z3 with no loss of rear end stiffness. All other tubes, frame components, and wrapping/bonding procedures are identical across the three models; all frames are built one-at-a-time in Peabody, MA.

Z1/Z2/Z3 frames feature "naked" 0/90 carbon weave and/or unidirectional tubing throughout. Each is finished with your choice of clear or paint and include our own distinctive Hampsten graphics.
